Steven was appointed General Manager of Occupational Training Institute in November 2015. He brings in a robust track record to manage operations using best practice pragmatism and optimizing assets.

Steven has over 30 years’ experience working within the Interserve Group Companies (Tilbury Douglas) Group of which 12 years in the Middle East (Qatar & Oman).

He is an experienced business manager, self-motivated and conscientious hardworking person with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. Experienced in the commercial section of the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Nuclear business working in different climates, cultures and locations around the world.

Steven’s vision is to build Occupational Training Institute as a leading Safety Training Provider internationally and in the region.

Sreekumar K.S,

Financial Controller  

Sreekumar was appointed as a Financial Controller in 2007 leading a team of 4 accounts staff. He is responsible for all accounting, financial, HR & procurement functions of the company reporting directly to the OTI General Manager & Chief Financial Officer, OHI Group.

Sree has over 22 years of financial management experience in the industry of which 16 years in Oman. Sree provides comprehensive and expert financial services and ensures timely delivery of monthly/yearly accounts to the Banks, Tax Authorities and the OTI Board.

Owais Ahmad,

Business Development Manager  

Owais was appointed as a Business Development Manager in December 2016 and is responsible for maximizing the income of the company through marketing initiatives in existing and new market sectors and promoting innovation within OTI customers across the region.

Owais has over 12 years business development experience in the Training,. Owais is client-oriented being able to evaluate project requirements against time, cost, quality and safety to the benefit of the projects.

Budhaman Gurung,

Lead HSE Manager  

Budhaman was appointed Lead HSE Manager in 2018 having been with the Company for nearly 22 years.

Having started his career as a Health & Safety Training Instructor, he moved up through the Management structure to become Lead HSE Manager leading a team of 12 Health & Safety & Driving Instructors.

Budha is an experienced training professional with an impressive portfolio of safety qualifications and intensive experience in HSE Management and Consultancy with the capability to deliver specialised programmes in Scaffolding, Working at Heights, Permit to Work Level 1, 2 & 3 training courses.

Beena Shinu,

Training & Coordination Manager  

Beena was appointed as Training & Coordination Manager in December 2018 having been with the company since July 2008.

Beena is responsible for the smooth running of the HSE & Driving Departments, planning and scheduling the course schedules, assign trainers to various training locations. She has the authority to delegate, allocate tasks, train, coach and supervise the administration team and generate monthly invoices with support from the Finance Team.

Beena earned her MBA (specialization in Finance & Marketing) from the prestigious School of Communication and Management (SCMS) affiliated to Kerala University in India. Beena brings over 19 years of office administration experience to OTI.
